Fees for Contract Court Interpreters
The following new rates for federal contract court interpreters become effective February 1, 2010:

| Full Day | $388 |
| Half Day | $210 (first half-day); $176 (second half-day) |
| Overtime | $55 per hour or part thereof |
| Language Skilled (Non-Certified) | |
| Full Day | $187 |
| Half Day | $103 |
| Overtime | $32 per hour or part thereof |
Overtime payments are payable only for time worked in excess of 8 hours in one day, and are not applicable to travel time. A contract interpreter cannot charge different court units for any half-day or full day for which he or she is already receiving payment from another court unit.
We observe a ten-minute courtesy period before overtime rates apply for assignments after 5:30 p.m.
